My Rock Shox SID XC rear shock is quickly loosing air pressure in its negative/lower chamber. Anyone have any comments or ideas regarding possible solutions…replace with new shock, have shock rebuilt (local shop vs. ship it somewhere), or buy tools/seals necessary to rebuild myself. Thanks in advance for any input. - Kirk

Hey Kirk
I replaced the sid on my NRS with a crane creek and I really like it. Only problem is that I would rather ride my hardtail. Seriously though I have a used sid that would fit your bike if you get stuck. I would let you have it for $55.00

My experience with RS rear shocks has been negative. I would seriously consider upgrading to a Fox, 5th Element, or Swinger.
I have ridden the Cane Creek shocks but found that I prefer the feel and adjustability of the aforementioned.
Hope this helps!
