I don't know what else is in this energy bill, but I hope it passes. Think of the IT work out there for all those computers which are preprogrammed for the current daylight savings.

I saw a quote, and I can't remember where it was from, but some guy said, " he didn't want 2 more months of daylight savings because he doesn't want the grass to grow more in those months."

While I am all for the change to Daylight Savings part of it, I find it funny how politicians always have to have additional selling points. Nothing can ever "be" what it is. In this case, the lower crime rate thing. I guess muggers go to bed early, so if it gets dark at 5:30 in December instead of 4:30 they can't wait the extra hour for the purse snatching... damn lazy muggers ;)

Are there any reasons to oppose the extension of daylight savings time. I can't think of any.
