New trail in Wendell S.F.

Thanks to the guy in the parking lot yesterday who clued me in to the new trail off Baker road. It's looking like a good one. Definately not a beginner trail, lots of fun stuff to play on. Where are y'all planning on having it come out?

It will eventually come out at the bottom of saxon bridge road, we are hoping that it will end up being between 6-8 miles. I've got a few more, though I posted the best of the bunch.
I'll email the full size files to you guys this week along with my and Stork's email addresses so you can add us to the list. I hope we can make it out there and help out with the next section of trail - should be some cool stuff.

The pictures tell a pretty good story about our efforts for the day-werather was pretty darn nice too (I like the shot of the pond!).

good question quo fan-yes there is. The deal is we are allowed to incorporate nearby boulders and feautures as long as there is also a true multi-use line (xc skiers being the main other users) available as well.

Seems like it should turn out to be an awesome technical XC trail with a nice sprinkling of optional 'bonus' features along the way.
The best of both worlds :)

Gotta say also it's a really nice place, not to mention huge and easy to access from Rt 2. Great bunch of guys. Thanks to Superbman and BigMac for the tour and props to Mike for ripping right off that drop on his C-dale hardtail. That was sweet. Looking forward to getting back out there.

Hey Folks-offpiste has put up some picture on some of the other wendell threads that show the continued growth of this trail. It now links in with the Whale's head trail so it can be ridden in a unidirectional loop-the whale's head spur is just a diversion in what will be a much, much longer trail-
