I know many folks are concerned about their personal privacy, which these days it's understandable. I found out about this web site today and you enter your name and it lists your address and phone number and for a fee, you can get a background check done. It's sort of scary depending on how you look at it. The site is zabasearch.com.

A few of the ones that came up for me were intentional wrong addresses I put into websites asking me to "register".

I was ready to write this off as a glorified phone book--which have published such information for years--but search results for relatives indicate they are definitely several sources of information. Nothing on the site says what their sources are. Truckboy, do you know which web sites allow your information to become public?

Data-mining is a powerful thing. I personally put up a fight whenever some one/company wants my information.
