anyone ride a chameleon?

just bought a 2002 frame (US made!!). want to set up as SS I think.

I just built one over the winter. Sadly it has only one ride on it (urban) due to trail conditions. It's built geared with a Z1 and I love it. Once things dry out it should see a lot of use this year. I've been toying with running a 32X18 without a tensioner, just using the horizontal dropouts (sweet drops on the Chameleon!). Of course if I do that I'll have 4 SS bikes ::). You'll love it, they are very versatile bikes, not too heavy to race and strong enough to try bigger stuff.

what year is yours? what brakes are you running?

'04, Avid Mechanicals. Does yours have the old style disc mount?

yup, old style...no avids for me on the rear. oh well :'(

it's pretty though, white, I'll post when i get it built up. looking for used avid mech for the front if you know anyone selling.
