Today I took advantage of a window of sun to hike the Blue Hills. As expected, the trails were very wet with lots of rolling water down the trails. The fireroads are in horrendous condition. Only the truly ignorant would try riding here anytime in the close future. It's going to be a while before those trails dry and harden.
I would say that this is a good indication that the trails are likely in similar condition in Foxboro and Wompatuck.
On a positive note, the Skyline Trail is very hikeable. There was a lot of rock hopping going on, but I was able to avoid stepping in mud.
Cross training, people! No need to damage the singletracks when you can get in shape with some hearty hill and rock climbing.
