why would somebody find one of these, take it home, keep it for a few days, and not report it? Sounds a tad bit suspicious to me.......

Maybe if you hated your in-laws and you knew they were coming over for a BBQ that weekend and his/her favorite treat were Doritos. Or you could save it and put it on a trail where you knew ATVs traveled illegally often ;D
