Well I was sitting around yesterday wishing the Kona would get back from its date of destiny at the bike shop.

I really, really, like my Kona. http://www.angelfire.com/mn/descent/index.html MP3

I'm a songwriting powerhouse!

Lyrics:

I like the kona, I like the kona

Kona kona, Kona kona.

;D

OK now something else I did today, put a 16 inch wheel onto my old Trek 820. I had a ton of trouble finding the right length of chain, I can't get it any better since I lost my half link. Once I do get a half link, I'm gonna put BMX bars on this thing and go cruisin the city.

There are several low muddy spots where I live. Some of these can be incredibly deep. We ( my 5 year old bro and I. Notice the low camera angle) visited the deadliest, where an underground stream surfaces to join the main stream. It is a very good thing that we know where the spot is, because I would have been in trouble just walkin' straight into it. Yeah, my hand shows where the mud comes to on that stick.

Someone say something I have been talking to myself the last four posts and 70 views. Surely someone has a comment negative or whatever.

How about all this stinkin' rain, certainly doesn't help the mudder issue.

No, all this rain sucks. I haven't done any riding in it at all.

Walking on the trail in back of my house, I found someones MTB tracks that cut ruts about 5 inches deep. OK pal, if you wanna brave mud land, and lay waste to your bike and legs, feel free.

Ahh yes, the Kona song was recorded on an acoustic mandolin. I gave it a bit of a "kick" instead of just leaving it acoustic sounding. It really feels like it needs a instrumental break in there and some more words ( as much as any dumb song needs those). This weekend I got a friend coming over with his bass, so we're gonna record bass tracks for that and some other songs. The things we spend our time on.
