Anyone want to play a trivia game to pass the time until the trails thaw and dry? I set up a game for NEMBA members. There are new questions everyday.
Sign in and play, or don't and be an antisocial introvert!

http://www.funtrivia.com/private/main.cfm?tid=17287

This game is not sponsored or supported in any way by NEMBA. All opinions and blah blah blah.....

Should have called my self Slider, instead of Ronmac00...

" 3. If I am 5 foot 9 inches tall, how tall am I in cm?
The correct answer was 175. (report correction)"

I thought is was 2.2cm/inch, but it is 2.54. Nice to get corrected on that!

"9. In mutualism, (2 organisms of different species interacting with each other) who benefits?
The correct answer was Both species benefit. (report correction)"

Outsmarted myself here, thinking symbiosis had the "both benefit" thing covered, and mutualism was some other concept. Never hear the term before. Again, learning is good!

Anyhow, I'm getting a kick out of knowing that many of you are inwardly annoyed that the great and omniscient (at least this time) Mr Cheeze is currently on top. :P

5. Who left the keys in Jerry's car that caused it to get stolen?

The correct answer was Sid. (report correction)

I think this was an unfair question. In the episode when the valet smelled up Jerry's car, Jerry drove his car to a bad section of town and tossed the keys on the front seat in front of a car thief.

The difference is Jerry wanted to get his car stolen when he tossed the keys on the seat (due to the smell). Sid caused the car to be stolen because he forgot.

The only question I messed up was the Topic of Cancer vs Tropic of Capricorn

2/10! What can I say. I was reading Abbie Hoffman and Kurt Vonnegut, not Nathaniel Hawthorne and Dante.

I'd last about 15 seconds on Jepoardy.

Last quiz!? :'( :'(

And of course there was a LOTR question in my bunch of questions.

5/10 :-[ I'd thought I would do better, I read all the time, but I guess I don't retain.

Make sure you bring it back next winter!

If you guys want to keep playing, i'll keep it going. But i'm out of topic ideas, so I'll take suggestions

Half my questions were Tom Clancy! Thanks to him and Catcher in the Rye, I did well!

Save your score average and don't waste your time with this Video Games quiz. Talk about obscure and useless trivia.

LOL, me too. I hadn't heard of ANY of those video games, let alone played them. Honest.

Tim, I was looking for you at the awards Sat. night. I had a couple extra beer tickets and was looking to buy for someone....
