Hi,
please use this thread to list any MTB shock experts you know of, people at bike shops or other, whom you KNOW invest the time to do a job right. some bikes shops do NOT have experts in this. shocks (like multigear internal hubs) require more than your standard bike setup kung-fu.
and it is nice to have a shock professionally serviced, it saves time and money.
I know of one expert in shocks. He has been trained and has a section of the shop devoted to shock maintenance and tuning, and if he cannot get the job done, he will steer you to someone who can.
Allspeed Bicycle Portland, Maine 878-8741 ask for 'James'. James is the shock expert for this shop. He services many types, and works on shocks for semi-pro downhillers. He will steer you in the right direction.
Please reply to this thread with other shock experts you actually know do good work, so we'll have a resource here in the forum.
