A few questions:
What's the steerer length?
What's the travel?
Air? Coil?
With ETA or not?
What's the price?

If it was on a bike, the steerer has to have been cut. Different size frames take different length steerers. You have to measure how much steerer sticks out from the top clamp.
I ride an XL frame, and most likely your steerer is too short. Not sure how much I need, but I'll measure it once you tell me what you have.
If it does fit, I'll need to know the price, too.

thanks gnu.
Umm, the steerer is exactly 8" long and the fork has 100mm travel. I was thinking about $80 since its like brand new.

I guess I have to shrink a little. My Dean steerer is 10". I run a lot of spacers!
I know I will kick myself for passing on this, since I suspect the Manitou on the Fisher I bought here last week will need a rebuild at some point. Maybe if you don't sell it in the meanwhile....

Darn, I need a new fork, just can't find one I want with the steerer around 9 inches.

I'm working on my wife on this, since it makes a great backup, at worst, for her bike.
One question: has it got brake studs?

thats exactly what it looks like. Almost New 2004 Marzocchi MZ Comp. Mint.
Umm, maybe tell your wife that it will keep you from doing drugs and robbing banks. lol. Just tell her u wont ask for any new parts for a long time and that this a is a steal on a fork that is usually much more exspensive.

oh wait. Its for your wifes bike.... hmm, maybe tell her that it is a really light fork for XC riding but it is also burly if she ever wants to some of than kind of stuff.

It is a steal. And I am very cheap. Unfortunately, my wife doesn't quite get my long-term parts planning. All she knows is that she's not working while in school, so cash flow is tight, so no spending. I can explain that we willl save hugely once she does need a new fork or a rebuild, but it falls on deaf ears.
So, for now, my supply of tubes is gone, there are no extra drivetrain parts on my shelves, no spare deraillers, and only one set of cables. I am usually stocked with closeouts and other deals. But, for now, I pry every inch out of what I have, which usually means more trail fixes.
On the other hand, if any of the reasonably good-sized sales I am working on closes soon, I may get the nod for a few $$. She'll never appreciate that I will spend some first on her bike!

I'm still interested in buying this fork. Just let me know when I can pick it up. If you're not sure of the transaction (dropping $$ in the mailbox) I can send you a check first. Let me know. The best time for me is mid-mornings during the week....unless you want to ride w/us Sunday am in Plymouth.....either way, drop me an email or

Thanks!
