Hi. I have a straight Thomson 27.2 black seatpost and I would like to try a setback post. Anyone want to trade? Even for one ride? Or for some other quality setback post? I would love a Moots, but they are $$$$.
The black finish on the post is a little rubbed off in the back from a under-the-seat back. I have another post, same thing, no rubbing, but it has been cut down a little bit by the bike shop.

I have a 27.0 that I need to trade for a 27.2. Sorry that it won't provide the setback you are looking for, but perhaps you would be willing to trade one of yours. How long is the cut-down one?

the 27.0 is about as useful to you as it is to me: not very. particularly when it is not setback. ::)

Jeez. Sorry I took up your valuable time. I guess you will have to deal with one of the hundreds of others who replied.
