OK, this project started because I couldn't sell the replacement frame from Jamis. It was going to be a loaner bike for my brother who was looking to move up here. (My folks are moving back to N.E. this summer - CT near Arcadia). Anyway he decided he's going to some motorcycle mechanic's institute in Florida and now I'm stuck with this. It's a mix of stuff I had, parts from the LBS and Ebay + Ridemonkey. Total cost was about $650 with the fork rebuild. My goal was to get my brother into the sport via this bike - now I just have to lure some other victim, errr lucky person into the fold. That's one of my goals this year, to try to get some non - riding person into the sport - and hopefully NEMBA. There's a few potential candidates at work so we'll see how that goes. Anyway here's some pix of the latest from my personal Mantown (OK so it's just the crappy 2nd floor of our apt. but it's pretty well taken over - just don't tell Stacy I said that ;)).
