View Full Version : Icon Artists, submit your icon for Nemba

Hi,

This would be cool. I think Nemba needs a web browser bookmark/favorites 16x16 icon for the Nemba.org home page.



Think of and create icons, post them in this thread, and perhaps we can vote on a design, (maybe just a shrunken Nemba logo, or a bike) and then PK can get the icon installed in the root directory of the website and we'd have a cool new geegaw for anyone with Nemba.org links bookmarked in his/her browser.

There is likely a simple way to do this that I have not found yet. How can I download NEMBA's current logo?

16 x 16 is NOT a lot of space to work with. I used a mini fells map on fellsbiker.com and its barely noticeable. Best bet for a favicon is to just keep it simple, a mini nemba logo...
Problem is a 16x16 nemba logo is barely recognizable.... ill see if I can come up with something.

OK its really hard to make the nema icon look good small, this is the best i could come up with and it looks like ass.

I like the last one better, Fellsbiker. It's such a small area for even a mildly complicated logo.

The best I could come up with is this, which is the upper left hand corner of the logo.

Perhaps a non-NEMBA related icon, like a generic bike wheel, or a mountain?

Yeah so my last one was good enough for me so I made it out chapter's favicon (we also didn't have one)

Wow ok well if you guys like em that much, I'll make em for everyone. Post to this thread and specify your exact chapter color shceme (if you don't have one, nows a good time to pick a look :-) )
