Yeah ... It "was" a blast ! :)

I say "was" because unfortunately now, all the best trails ( the trails that were worth the 6 hour drive ) are "closed" to mountain biking. :( Search the web PA State Game land and mountain biking and you'll get the story.

Personally I wouldn't bother going there anymore. If you want to ride in PA check out the Sate College area - notably Rothrock & Bald Eagle state forests. We ride the W101 down there every year and I think the trails are fantastic - mostly very rocky singletracks, great climbs and extended descents and a lot of flowing but bone jarring ridgetop riding.

If you go there Mt. Nittany Wheelworks in State College are good guys and can give you the 411.

EDIT: But if you want to go there to participate in the event there are still some rides you can do - just not anywhere near the quality or epicness of what was available on Broad Mountain (before State Game Land clousure) so I guess from my prespective it's kinda depressing...
