Monterey/Lake Mead/Grand Canyon

I'm looking for some tips on rides in these areas. Anyone been there who can point me in to the best road & mountain rides? Laguna seca,Fort Ord,Big Sur. I have two days to ride around Monterey and a half day at Lake Mead/Grand Canyon.

I recommend the Soquel Demonstration Forest.

From the parking area take Eureka Canyon Rd. to the Aptos Creek Fire Rd. to the Ridge Trail. Then pick a downhill run. I recommend the Tractor Trail. Technical and steep.

I understand Laguna Seca has some nice XC trails, though I haven't ridden there.
