We are thinking of a Memorial weekend trip to KT. (kid/family friendly trip, if anyone wants to join on)
Am I crazy thinking the trails will be dried out enough by then?? Any thoughts or past experiences?

I thought I'd share the reply I got from KT (email reply).

Hi Chris,

Our trails will have been opened three weeks by then and the trail conditons are pretty
much dependent on the weather. Half our system is located on a sandy-loam hill which
drains excllently and can be ridden a few hours after rain without significant damage.
So conditons will be alright by then and when you check in with us we can fill you in on
any problems or where best to ride that day.
One thing is to reserve a space to a local inn/condo/campground since that weekend
can be busy.
As far as equipment goes, your bikes, helmets, water and friends are the right
ingredients. You can always
give me a call sometime at 802-626-0737 if you need more particular info. Glad you're
coming up. You gonna love it. That I guarantee

while you're their you can check out the Killington Triathlon-
bike, run, ski. I've got a couple of buddies who do it every year.
