Oldbroad and Brianc of MTBR fame came up for a little jaunt in the minkhills today. Like others we also had some good conditions with a wee bit of climbing thrown in. The moose seemed to elude the MTBers for another day.

Great ride Glenn. It was a great day to be outside riding. :) Although I'll be feeling that "wee bit" of climbing tomorrow.

Brian C. making his way down one of the many hills. There was lots of ice & he didn't have studs so it was touch & go.

Jean we'll have to keep and eye out in the passion forum on MTBR, Brians photo's are always impressive. I think he needs to give me a class on photography. My legs are feeling it also, maybe "holy shyt" hill should come in the beginning of the ride.

There is still some good cover, the snowmobile trails are like riding hard dirt. I guess that will all change in the next day or so.

Studded was the way to go, Brian had some problems without studs. I'm not sure if Jean's were homemade or not. I think the were Michelins. I have not seen the trails this good in a while. It was nothing to get up to 25 MPH on the snowmobile downhills.
