Ok I'm a D bag - I am enjoying going snowshoeing and could care less if Idon't ride until March ( full disclosure - I can't ride for like 6 weeks per my doc due to bursitis, so I have no choice). The break from riding all the time is nice, and the more real snow there is the better the snowboarding is. I can't ride for like 6 weeks due to my bursitis issue. I actually want more snow. Go ahead and yell at me now, I know I deserve it.

Dude, why live in New England if you hate snow?!! Life is too short, global warming is not going to save you!

Send some of that stuff north, we need it. And I want to plow my driveway.

I've been trying to get the wife to move since last summer. Hopefully it will happen before next winter. Which is what I said LAST winter...

Yeah - bring it on! ;D

Tried out one of these rigs at Shawnee this past w/e. Sweet design, climbed surprisingly well too. Seems like it would be a blast on snowmobile trails. The guys totally ripped on them downhill also.

That bike is listed for $4300, not $3400. :o Interestingly, that same bike was listed a few weeks back for $6500! No bids...hmmm.

Luckybikes - you really do not want to burst your spleen. That would mean no riding for a loooong time. Nothing to do for mono except wait it out. Be glad you are sick during the winter!

Looks like I'm not cleaning the house this Saturday either. Gotta ski while I still can.

Cleaning the house is way overrated. I'd go skiing too.

Trails may be ridable this weekend after all the rain and a re-freeze. I'm going to give it a shot.

And this from Jay Peak - I'm headed north

***NOON UPDATE****

Nearly a foot of new snow on the ground and forecasters are calling for another 2 feet during the day today and tonight. If you listen to Jim Roemer, as we do, he’s calling for 30-36” by Saturday morning here in the land of Good and Plenty. Expect Jay to get a healthy dose of wrap-around Orographic uplift from the Nor’Easter storming up the New England Coast. Yeah, I know, click here f

OK, but only because you asked....

We have been getting a fairly wet snow, but at least it's coming down. Hopefully it'll get cold and continue all night with some lighter stuff.

This pic is not from today, but you get the idea.

I hope we don't get infiltrated with dude's from the tractor forum now. About 6" here, how is the valley?

just a coating on the southeast coast of Mass, which will be gone by this afternoon. TOT should be good for tomorrow!

Didn't seem to get any snow in the Boston area, but people on the pike still thought it would be appropriate to go no faster than 29 mph.

Jay's awesome. Have a blast. I'm heading to the White Mountains for some X-C. No downhill 'til my shoulder's fixed. Next year.

Well, up here in Maine, we ended up with about 20" of the stuff! Everything is covered! Woohoo!

Couch skied the river this morning, and we're headed out on the machines this afternoon for some powder riding... Anyone heading up here for winter activities this weekend will NOT be disappointed!

Woohoo! I LOVE the snow, and I LOVE winter!!!!! I'll ride my bike later.....

Hmm - I'm not 100% sure where that is. Couch said things were a little chaotic up there today - lots not completely plowed, people getting stuck, trees down on the Spruce Mtn triple ???, and VERY long lift lines. I'd say that judging by the traffic up here tonight, the lines will be long tomorrow too!

That's ok - I'm headed out with Mrs 2Stroke for an overnight snowmobile adventure! Funny thing is that last weekend we almost canceled because there was no snow, and this weekend there is literally TOO MUCH!

S'all good with me though! I'll ride the trainer when I get back ;)
