Phil told me that there are, I forget, a dozen or maybe eighteen NEMBA members in Vermont, total.
I'm almost to work this morning, stopped at the last light, behind a pickup truck. In the back window: a NEMBA sticker.
The truck turns, I turn, up the hill, and it turns into the parking lot where I work and parks.
I stop the van, climb out and walk over to the side door of the pickup, feeling somewhat foolish. The woman inside eventually discovers me standing outside, says hello.
Turns out she rides, her husband rides, it's his truck, which is why I haven't seen the sticker before. Sounds like maybe another riding buddy. :)
