What's inside it, air or oil? 130 mm? Any idea what weight rider it's set up for?

it has air preloads and coils. yes, it's a 130mm. as far as set up, all he did was take it out the box, put some air, and rode

I guess what I'm asking is how stiff is the spring in it. I don't know if these can come with different springs or not, but if so, which one does this one have?

I own a 03 DJ3. the stocke springs are pretty stif adn there is air preolad. I run my DJ3 wtih no air in it and i way 140 and its still pretty stiff if that helps

Thanks guys. Lucky, it does help. I love my oil/coil 'zoke and am afraid of going to air assist. I'm also shopping for a plush fork for my Girlie's full suspension I am building this winter. I think I'm going to get my 4" psylo rebuilt for her. Can't beat that price though!

sounds good, it's still here if you change your mind. he hit it on the button. i had an 03 dj2 which i recently sold and it was still stiff even with little or no air. some guys recommended taking one of the springs out which sounds nuts, but it worked for them as a matter of fact, i just got home from riding with one guy who does it and says it gives him no problem. he also has an 03 dj3. who knows? everyone has their preferences, i guess

i actually just got an 04 dj3 and it was too plush for me. although it could be a lack of oil put in on marzocchis part.

yeah, could be. are those a 110mm fork?

Anybody know what the diff is between the DJ 1, 2 and 3 models?

the amount of adjustability. and on the newer ones the dj3 is the only fork with standard qr dropouts.
