Bring Out Yer Dead Hungover Road Ride

Come detox and bring in the New Year with some other pedalling fools.

We'll ride about 50-60 miles (pretty easy and out of tune), heading out to Harvard and beyond, followed by a vat of chili and some hair of the dog (or cat... or wildebeast).

Ready to ride time: 11:30am Saturday
Leaving from Acton MA.

Bring some food/drink for post-ride carbo loading.

Ooff, that ride started the new year. We ended up with about 43 miles with some Harvard action and lots and lots of road spray. Good stuff.

PK and I followed it up with another 35 mile jaunt yesterday and MrsCouch and I got in 44 today. I'm spanked and my knees hurt. I may need to gear the SS down a bit.

Sounds like it was brutal, uh I mean fun! I've been riding the couch for the last week. It's surprisingly redeeming and enjoyable. BTW - what's the gearing on your SS road bike?

Gearing on mine is 48x16. I think PS's running a 48x17, wuss ratio.
