I rode in Bear Brook today....the trails are in great shape.
Got about 1.5 to 2 inches of snow...very rideable. I got fresh tracks all day! When backtracking a bit back to the parking area, I noticed that my tracks were erased in many places due to the wind.....very fun!!!!! 8)
Note that you'll be parking in the hiker biker area....or out at the toll booth. The gates are closed now. Studded tires are not necessary, though some of the roots were darned slippery.
Very cool ride....I'm sure places such as Pawtuckaway or FOMBA would be similar. Get out there and enjoy!
