For Sale: 1995 18” GT RTS-2 *FULL SUSPENSION* XC mountain bike

Original owner.
Bike is fully cleaned and professionally serviced with *many* new parts....In other words, ready to ride!
Complete bike weight is 28lbs.
Frame:
- Color: “Ball-burnished” (polished aluminum).
- Condition: Good, some scratches from normal wear. Suspension pivots in good condition, recently cleaned and lubed.
- Seat tube is 18” from center of BB to center of top tube (“Medium”).
- Top tube is 23” from center of seat tube to center of head tube (measured along the top tube).
- Constructed from 7005 series butted aluminum (both frame *and* swing-arm) with replaceable derailleur hanger, stainless steel hardware.
- Innovative “rocker” suspension design reduces pedal-induced suspension bobbing (makes it a great climber!).
- “Triple-triangle” main-frame design is very tough and stiff!
- Approximately 2” (50 mm) rear-wheel travel.
- Noleen rear shock with adjustable spring preload, “450lb” spring. Shock is in good working condition.
Fork:
- ROCKSHOX MAG-21 front suspension fork. 2.75” (70mm) travel. “Threadless” steerer tube. Air spring, oil filled. Air spring pressure adjustable (preload), on-the-fly 6 position damping control, can be custom-tuned even further by varying oil level/weight. Includes RockShox pump, needle, and owner’s manual.
- Condition: Good working condition, some scratches, paint peeling a bit near dropouts.
Brakes:
-Upgraded to Shimano Deore XT V-brakes and levers, *new* XTR cartridge pads, *new* cables and housing.
Shifting:
- Deore XT 8-speed rear derailleur with *new* Carmichael alloy cartridge bearing pulleys, good condition.
- Deore LX front derailleur (top pull), good condition.
- *NEW* Deore XT 8-speed Rapidfire shifter pods (front and rear), *new* cables and housing, perfect condition.
Drivetrain/Pedals:
- Deore LX crankset, 175mm, standard taper, *new* Shimano middle ring, other rings in good condition.
- Deore LX cartridge bottom bracket, great condition.
