I am looking to find any NEMBA members that may have access to a Sub-Meter GPS unit.
Preferably a backpack style.
It will be used to mark out some trails in a popular riding area. We would need to use it for 2 days over a weekend.
If anyone has access to this type of equipment please email me at crowe@winchester.us

Thanks

Can't help you, but I'm curious why you need sub-meter accuracy.

The location where the mapping will be done has a lot of small trails that run off the main trail. I want to get as much detail as possible. A lot of the unit that are not sub-meter do not pick up enough detail and you can have trails that mesh together because the unit will not differentiate. Currently on the market there is a sub-meter backpack unit. That is one i am hoping someone has.
I have a sub centimeter unit but it is a hand held pole and would be a pain in the butt to use. I would not get the area done in 2 days with the unit.
