I heard that Bicycling/Mountain Bike Mag rated Case Mt/Birch Mt as the best ride in CT. I could argue that, but why? It is a good place to ride. Technical as you want it to be, probably 30 miles of trails. Never far from a bail out. Interesting features.
I had the day off work today and boy did my wife and I take advantage of it. 3-4 hours of riding at Case. The weather was ok to start, beautiful by the time we were done.
