a lovely day it is today , so SloMoJo and I went for a Lunch ride.
So we rode , some in Marlboro, Northboro , and Westboro. In Westboro we saw a bunch of hunters ! made us glad we had our Orange on!

here is the GPS track of what we did.

Lots of slippery leaves on the ground. if you didn''t know the trail it could be tough to follow.

we call this on decapitation tunnel or de-cap for short.

The local Critters decided this section was just to easy , so they made it a wee bit harder .

and This section must have flooded and made the trails wicked Muddy ( IAB , this was that real muddy stretch by the pond )

and also Down by that Pond there had been some pallets to ride , they just made it a wee more trciky. but it was despertly needed.

Interesting. I grew up in Marlboro, but don't recognize those pictures. Does that start over by Hayes Memorial Drive (A&M)?

Man Splat is quick with the pics.
Ya finish a ride and he shows you more pics than you realize he took.

With me, he's really hoping for my faceplant in the mud.
Not today buddy! ;)

I missed all last week, so it was nice to get out there today.

Hayes Mem is the straight line on the map.
Took that road back for sake of time.

The ponds are big and lil Chauncy of Lyman St. towards Westboro.

Yep, ok. It had to be somewhere around there for the towns you covered. There used to be a lot of stuff to the east of Hayes before they put the office park in. We used to have massive keggers with bonfires there in the 70's and early 80's, then go out and drag on Hayes until the cops chased us away. Aaaah, simpler times......

Looks like fun. Just curious -- how long a lunch hour do you guys get? Are there any openings at that company?

My company gives whatever you need -- but 10-20 weeks a year I put in 80+ hours a week.

We have a big "wellness" push at work where physical activity and excercise, so by riding at lunch 2x a week, I get to save about $200 a year in exchange. What's funny is that the $200 savings for "living healthy" won't pay for 10% of my cracked rib that I got riding ;D

It rocks the shop, but my office (at 9/128 in Wellesley) is within a 10 minute drive of Needham and Dover, so...

Cheers,

-Andrew
