More like, get your lighting systems out and ride only after dark for the next couple of weeks. Nothing worse than someone armed and pissed off 'cause you just spooked Bambi's dad.
If you need to ride in the daylight, stick to Sunday when there is no legal hunting, but even then wear an orange vest.

Plus, The fowl hunters go out at either dawn or dusk. So be wary if you start your night ride around sundown.

As far as Sundays in MA, there is supposed to be no hunting, but there are many *******s who don't care and go anyways... You can even hear them out in Wrentham and Foxboro. It is really stupid, too, because if they are caught they get hefty fines and lose thier license. And why wait until hunting season only to break the law and go on Sundays? It doesn't make sense. Then again, hunters aren't exactly physics laureates.

Time to get out the cowbells. I always put them on the dog when I drag him along, but this time of year I have one for myself. I rode with some people in RI who had special pullovers for their hemets. Looked a lot less dorky than my "crossing guard hat" stretched over my helmet!

I only worry about the deer hunters because I look more like a deer than a phesant after a few beers.

But the bow hunters are after deer too, and an arrow is just as deadly as buckshot. Probably more-so as the bow hunters I know are likely to be a better shot than most one-week hunters and more apt to hit their target.

I saw a trail of blood in bedford the other day, looked like someone dragged a deer out of the woods.

We'll forget about the fact that it is posted that there is no hunting and no motorized vehicles in the woods though...

True, but someone would probably have to want to hit you with an arrow. Generally one would have to be less than 100 feet from their target, before considering wind, tree limbs, and other things that would deflect an arrow. There's not too many "accidents" involving bow hunting.
