Its been said that humans know nothing except by comparison. Without rides like yesterday, we'd have no idea how nice it is to ride on a nice dry, warm day. What does amaze me is how I can get out of the car and think, "this is miserable" then once I swing my leg up over the bike, the weather improves instantly. Sometimes I get home and convince everyone we should go out and do something only to get those "are you kidding?" looks.

We had a great time at Salmon River yesterday.

I love biking and hiking in foul weather. Not sure why. Nature just has a different feel, or something. Another set of conditions to be out in. Plus you're more likely to be the only one out there. Better than sitting at home watching something stupid on the tellie wishing the weather would improve. Plus you appreciate getting home and getting warm and dry afterwards.
