Hey all, Steve and I are going to be riding GBF wed night at 6:00. Anyone who would like to ride is wecome. We'll be in the paved parking lot. If interested respond to the thread and we'll wait up.. John

I might be wrong, but I think there's no night riding allowed at Great Brook...

Jaime you are correct. Night riding is not allowed at GBF or most state parks :'(

You wouldn't want to walk, never mind mountain bike with night vision goggles.
They remove all depth perception( 2D view)

It can be done though, the last 3 years I was in the Air Force I basiclly lived on a quad riding at night with only NVG's, it is a rush runnin down trails at 50 mph with no depth perception.........I now see why I love Mt. Biking.

Iceman, that sounds like a rush.... Cool sight last night going home on 128 north in Beverly Farms as I spot 1/2 dozen lights scrambling up a single track close to the higway... Wishing I didn't have to work so late...maybe next time!
