all,
quick question . . . does anyone switch to flat pedals to ride in the snow?

I switch to flats when there is a lot of snow on the ground. The first year I rode in snow, my cleats clogged up so badly, I couldn't clip in. The next year I got platforms to ride with and I wear skate shoes for winter riding.

Wow!
That fella on the uni is quite amazing.

I would surely die on that thing in Nam.

I know that some people switch to flats in the winter. I switch to eggbeaters in the snow and stick to my 636's the rest of the time. I've never had a problem getting in or out of the eggbeaters regardless of the conditions, and I just ride better when I'm clipped in.
