they look to be Isis cranks Splat - just my guess.

That is what I thought , just wanted to be sure. Means ther eno good to me , since all my BB's are square taper.

Isn't your FSR an Octolink, Gnu? I just bought a new Stumpjumper, that's what I have.

Octalink (Shimano) and Isis (everyone else) are not the same. Leave it to Shimano to make their own rather than conform to a standard.

youre thinking of my friend who rode with us. i have a kona cinder cone. my bb is whatever came before the octalink i think. its the alivio or acera bb.
