Does kmart or walmart sell bike clothing? My local bike shops are pretty expensive (yeah, I know, support your local business. i'm poor). And I hate paying $7 shipping for a $30 shirt. kwim?

Walmart sells some cheap non cotton clothing from different manufacturers.

my favorites are the wicking Starter short and long sleeve tees
work just as well if not better than some bike specific companies jerseys

as far as shorts; you gotta spend the money, I love Pearl Izumi

I saw some LeMond crap at a Target

Good luck

Places like Supergo, Nashbar and Performance have their own clothing brands, which are typically very inexpensive when compared to PI and others. I have purchased some of that cheaper stuff and it surely is of lower quality than name brand. That being said, I bought two pairs of bib shorts from Performance for $40 each. My last good pair of Sugio bibs cost $89 and lasted about 2 years. If I can get a year out of these two pairs, I'm ahead of the game. From a comfort standpoint, I can find no difference between the two.

I typically keep a running list of what I need for the bike. When I see a good sale or get enough quantity, I place an order. Seems that the more you spend the less the shipping is per dollar of order.

I know LBS, LBS, LBS. I go there when I need something immediately, but I really have a hard time justifying buying something there when I can order and save so much $$$$. Can't count the number of times I've educated LBS staff.

yeah, I've got some Performance items, but i've never spent the money on the name brand stuff so I don't know the quality difference.
Just hit my LBS on my lunch break. Couldn't find a decent winter shirt under $80. :(

Try Amazon.com, as 5% goes to NEMBA, so we can post in this great forum.

Yeah. And they double it if you can pass a drug test.

My friends and I found some bargains at a discount tent at Pedro's this year.

Some of the shops up here are having sales on their old stock. Just got a pair of Fox High Frequency Shorts the other day for 20% off.

Sears is good.
I tried the Work n' Gear Dickies but the Sears Roebucks lasted longer, faded evenly and the hammer loop is at a more confortable height.

Get your friends and relatives to buy the jerseys for gifts and get Primal cause their made in the USA.

DENIM RULES !!!!
