Well seeing Radairs thread prompted me to throw a few photos of the Marin SS up on the forum.

Mind you this thing isn't the prettiest of conversions, but it works for now and it didn't cost me anything really so it's all good.

This is my 2002 Marin Nail Trail - but it's actually different already.

It is now back to being a fully rigid SS with a Cromo Marin fork courtesy of Splat.

It's fun!

Not the best chain tensioner - but it didn't cost anything and it works for the time being.

The fork on it in the photos will soon be going to Justbill to be used on his son's Homegrown that he's building up.

That's definitely a ghetto chain tensioner. ;)

The Yankee inginuity can be excused, but do i really want to buy a fork from someone with a chain as rusty as that ???

Yeah I know - the Marin chain did get rusty because it basically sat around a lot until it was reborn again as a Single Speed.

No rust on the fork. :)
