OK, I'm trying to sell my mountain bike...I don't want to, but I need the money. This bike is worth FAR MORE than I am asking for it, so I'll deal a little bit but my price is relatively static.
OK, here is what the bike is...
2004 Rocky Mountain ETSX-50 in the 19" size. Color is black. The bike was purchased by me while I worked at a bike shop. It has therefore been mechanic owned and maintained. This bike is in great shape. The fork is a Fox TALAS RL (used to be R but I upgraded it to the lock-out cartridge). Adujstable travel between 85 and 125 mm. The rear shock is a Fox Float AVA RL (adjustable air volume, lockout and rebound adjustment). Rear travel can be changed, on the trail, from 3.5" (90mm) to 4" (100mm) or 4.5"(115mm). The linkage plates and pivot bearings are all new.
Components...
LX/XT/XTR drivetrain. Cranks and BB are XT. Rear derailleur is XTR. Shifters and front derailleur are LX.
Shimano Deore disc brakes
Chris King headset
Answer Pro-taper bars. Pimp gold.
I'll put whatever grips you might want on here.
Thompson laidback post...330 mm.
Mavic Crossroc Tubeless wheels. These are the ones with the conventional steel spokes.
I'll put a saddle of your choice on here.
I'm keeping my pedals as I'll be getting another mountain bike as soon as I can afford it, so the bike will some without pedals. Any changes you might want to make to the bike are negotiable, i.e. we can talk. I work at a bike shop and can get you stuff at my price for this bike ONLY. If you are interested, please drop me a line. This is a great bike for upgrading or whatever.
