No-drop girlrides

Hi!

I'm a new biker in the area and I am looking for some no-drop girlrides. I've got a few years of biking behind me and I'd perhaps categorize myself as intermediate. But I'd like to start with some really easy singletrack to get used to the riding out here. Is there an all-ability girlgroup in the area of Vernon/Manchester?

Try www.bikerag.com most of the rides are half XC with some stops for stunts and several girls ride with the groups

Might want to check at Vernon Cycles. I know they used to run an all girls ride, not sure if they do anymore.

Good intermediate riding can be found at either Bolton Notch (there are a ton of stunts there, but all are off the trail), or Gay City in Hebron.

Check Bikerag for details on where these places are.

I second Bikerag.com - check the group ride forum. I know there is a group that features a few women that rides the W. Hartford Reservoir practically every Thursday evening.

Usually a very fun group and a mellow pace too.

So I checked out Bikerag.com-- is it under construction at the moment? I went to forums and although there are a few hundred members- I didn't see any posts.

Or perhaps is there a super-secret link to the posts?
