Last month, Couch, Mrs. Couch and I went over to do the NEBC's time trail out of Concord. 9.75 miles of pain, suffering and black dots in front of the eyes. Maybe we should get a big contingent of mountain bikers out there one night.
It goes off every Wednesday at 5:30 or so. Anyone want in?

Hey Great idea...I'd do it for a hoot. 'Been a while since I've done that course. Oh - 'can't make it tonight though...

Let the record reflect that Couch didn't have any aero gear either (save the svelte and aerodynamic curvature of my flabby gut).
I'm about due for another. Mrs Couch redid a couple weeks back and shaved 18 seconds off her time. I need almost a minute to beat PK though. As a reference, do the math on PK's time and average speed. It's a hair under 25mph for the 9.75 miles. Ouch! I think that was his peak ride this season. All downhill from there ;)
Too bad he was sobbing like a little school-girl last week on the SS epic and last night on the surprise hill intervals at the end of a solid MTB ride.

Fun?...
"You keep using that word: I do not think it means what you think it means." (best Inego Montoya Spanish accent)
I need to get out & do that, too, but no way is it gonna be fun. To quote Stephen King, "a total barf-o-rama" is more like it.
