Knuck,
You seem to have created a little loophole for yourself here? I see you are not going to 'build'. This does not seem to exclude you buying the parts to do a build or buying a complete bike.

Also, the only thing you seem to be missing (besides money) is a little restraint. You build more bike than me and I actually work in a shop and get my stuff at cost. I would NEVER build what you do at retail prices. Next time maybe you could find someone like you who sells year old(or less) 'barely ridden' $3000 bikes at half price. ;) J.K.

It's not about the money. It's about the chaos inside the cerebral cortex. You can't begin to understand it. There's no rhyme or reason to it. It's just complete insanity is all.

Tell me about it. I've got 3 frames and 4 forks, 3 cranks, 2 wheelsets, and several boxes of misc. stuff in the basement waiting to form part of a build, and my wife wants to know why I need more parts before I can complete something. "But I need a 20mm hub for that fork and I can't use that fork on that frame or I'll get wheelflop and..." does not play well...

Bike parts -- can't live with 'em, can't live without 'em.

Sadly Knuck, I think I do somewhat understand. Most of us have two sides to our minds. The Dark side that gets a little buzz from chaos and the light side were maturity and common sence live. In my mind the dark side sometimes is dominant but for the most part the mature sesible side stays in charge. But occasionally out of now where I can hear the dark chaotic side screaming and it scares me because there is an attraction still.

In your case however I think the dark side left to its own devices just kicks the living **** outta the light side! And if it was'nt for Mrs Knuck you would be screwed. You would be broke and homeless and living under a bridge (Probably in Florida) with a huge pile of expensive toys. Just you and your hollowpoint and Kona and Playstation 3 with a truck load of games. You would be awake constantly keeping the neighborhood kids outta your booty!

Hang onto that woman Knuck! Don't let the Dark side win out. We need here on this forum keeping us laughing! ;)
