Went out yesterday afterwork for the first ride of the season, to prove my rebuilt drivetrain. Rail bed is quite rideable. A few muddy, soft sections, and one section of ice/snow, but otherwise fine. Went on a few sec tions of singletrack which were also good, but couldn't get too far due to standing water.
Lots of firsts -- First cacophony of tree frogs, first time this season hearing chipmunks in the woods, and first bug swallowed while gulping air on a climb....
