Feeling eloquent? I'd love to hear folk's suggestions about how to memorialize our efforts on the bronze plaque that we'll be installing on the NEMBA parcel. The plaque will list the major donors to the project--individuals who donated $1000 or more, and companies which donated $2000 or more.

It should be short and sweet. Something like:

At a time when development threatens open land, the following individuals and organizations had the vision to take action to preserve it for generations to come.

Thanks in advance.

Welcome to our land,

Through the tireless dedication of the entire mountain bike community and with special thanks to these primary donors forever will this land be part of the New England mountain bike scene.

Being less sensitive, I would add:

And all you four wheelers, stay the f**k out!

This one is pretty damn good. AA must do this sort of thing for a living.

Philip, your name ought to be in bold at the top of the list.

You will have to forgive me but not only am I a newbie to the forums but also to NEMBA. I was just wondering if the Liner family should be recognized on the plaque for giving NEMBA some flexibility to be able to aquire the land. In some of the articles I have read it appears they gave NEMBA a fair shot at getting this deal done, is that so?

I have no clue where NEMBA prop begins and the boundaries of others like Holliston Conservation, Hopkinton, Milford Conservations, New England Power/National Grid easements begin. I just like to ride there.
