NEMBA’s Blackstone Valley Chapter will be holding our third annual Women’s Mountain Bike Skills Clinic on Saturday, March 27 at Hodges Village Dam, Oxford MA. If the weather or trail conditions dictate, the rain date is April 3.

The program is geared towards beginners to intermediate level riders. It is not a race clinic. The focus is on building skills and confidence for riding typical New England Trails. We’ll cover such as being prepared to ride, trail etiquette, climbing hills, descending hills, picking lines, and negotiating obstacles.

The two hour program will begin at 10 AM and finish at noon. Group riding opportunities will be available after the main clinic.

We’re pleased to have a great group of instructors including current Womens’ Expert 50-plus USA and World Champ Lydia Barter, Blackstone Valley’s past president Anne Shepard, Team Bums’ expert rider Mary Misiaszek and Gold’Gym and EFTA Women’s Sports Champ Andy Fitzgerald.

The program is free. Helmets are a must. Please email kordell67@charter.net to pre-register or ask questions.
