I'm going to be in Hanover for four days for a wedding in September. I'n not familiar with the area and can't seem to find any information on trails in the area. I would appreciate any info, thanks.

I was looking through my copy of Mountainbiking in NH..and found one ride listed right out of Hannover #15 the backroads of Hannover and Lyme...Very good description. Also I would go to Omar and Bobs bike shop in Hannover....The book gives the address and phone number for all the bike shops in Town. Allso if you really want a challenge down 89 at a loop called the Corbin game park, it is actually around the outside of the park. This is located in i think Swansey.
Best of luck.

there is a nice variety of shorter singletrack trails. you could be very entertained for 4 days in september, that's a beautiful crisp season and you should definately bring your bike.
go to omer and bob's bike shop as suggested and ask for
boston lot trails
and
the blue ribbon trail
i don't think these are listed in many guides, but they are well worth riding. nice technical singletrack.

If boston lot trails = Boston Lot Lake, it's in the Mountain Bike! New Hampshire book. I haven't heard of the Blue Ribbon Trail. Omar and Bob's is definitely the place to check with. I've been there a couple of times, and they are good people.

Before you go up check out www.uvmba.org the local club. I am sure they will hook you up for some rides if you contact them. On your way up or down contact me if you would like to do a ride in the Warner area, it's off I89.

Boston Lot Lake is pretty easy to find from Hanover and the riding is decent. As everyone else has said, Omer & Bob's is right in town and they should be able to point you in the right direction.
The Blue Ribbon trail is relatively new (i think it's about 5 years old).
Another possible resource is the Upper Valley Mountain Bike Assocation, a local advocacy group that is active in that area. www.uvmba.org
