wheelset for disc

any suggeations on a nice light set of wheels for disc brakes.
want to spend about $300.00 max. used or new.
possible bontrager race lites?
which mavics should i look at?

Personally I'd say skip the pre-builts -- not a lot of bang for the buck. You might want to consider giving Mike Garcia a call or check out his website at www.oddsandendos.com. Or there are plenty of other reputable custom builders out there in webland.

If you really want some fun, buy the components and build the wheels yourself -- you won't save any money but it's a great feeling of accomplishment.
