Ok I was changing out my spring in my psylo and had to drain the oil bath. Now I have to refill the shock. Rock shox suggest using 30cc's of 5wt oil. Fine , But I don't have a syringe handy(gave up the herion habit). So my delema is .How the f@#ked much oil is 30 cc's in oz's.. I looked around the net for conversions, but I couldn't find one.
Does anyone know the answer to this here problem or should I just go buy a bottle of Rock shox oil and hope it shows cc's on it? ???

I used to have to do oil changes on an old Marzocchi and needed to inject 5cc of oil into a bottom of the leg through a small hole that was hard to get to. I bought a cheap syringe at the drug store that was intended to dispense childs cough syrup. It was very cheap and since it came with a hose attached to the end of the syringe I have found it very useful. I also have a glass graduated cylinder for measuring out larger volumes but unless you know somebody who works in a lab, that may be difficult or expensive to put your hands on.

A few others; photo darkroom supply stoers, measure/mix syringe.
Outboard motor mixing syringe (oil/gas deal)
Paint color measure/mix syringe avail at some paint stores and auto refinishing dist as well as graduated containers.
Also motorcycle cartridge fork oil is available in several weights and id cheaper than bike store stuff (answer products/manitou is Motorex anyway) Stay synthetic and without seal sweller agents) Motorex, Motul. PJ-1 ect

Rock Shox recommends the MixMizer. Several months ago, I searched all over hell for one, and finally a distributor. Things must have changed, since a Google search on that term will give you a bunch of distributors. I can't remmber the one I used, so I have no recommendation on that. The thing is only $3.50 anyway.
