Hey: I want to ride from Waterville Valley to North Conway and back off road. (not now - next Summer)

Anyone know of any good routes from Waterville to the Kanc rideable (mostly) and open to bikes? There are a few on my map, but they don't look too rideable based on the topography.

Once I get to the kanc. can find my way to N. Conway. :)

Thanks !

Tom:

All trails in the WMNF are open to bikes as long as you aren't in a wilderness area. 8)

I haven't done it yet, but the Greely Ponds X-C ski trail is on my list of "places to stop and ride" in NH. If you are coming from the Lincoln side, it's the trailhead just before the first big switchback on the Kanc, right befroe the Greely Ponds Trail. The White Mtn Waterproof map shows it as doable with 1 questionable hill. I figure an out-n-back with some time exploring at Waterville Valley would be a neat ride. ;D
