I am hoping to start the new year off right with a ride at Dogtown Commons in Gloucester MA this Thursday. I'd like to start at 10 AM, but am flexible if later is better for others. New start time so jsb2dc and his crew can join in - 11AM
Start is at the O'Maley School, Cherry St. just N of the first Gloucester rotary. Big parking lot with a lot of yellow busses. Use 32 Cherry St. Gloucester in your favorite mapping program.
Dogtown is an unusual place and worth a visit if you've never tried it. Quarries, views of the Atlantic, rocks of all sizes, some with inscriptions. Trails are fun intermediate level stuff with some moderately difficult rock garden sections. There is zero snow, ice, or mud. Moderate pace XC stopping as needed.
