wait, is the fells open to bikes this time of year?

ok, i went by myself. And as it turns out i was catching a cold that kept me out of sorts thru the holiday. I'm sure the chill agrivated the condition. I had to stop and walk up one hill.

On the bright side, i met a biker new to the area at the kiosk after the ride. He was wondering if i knew about any other places to ride now that the Fells is closed for the season. I pointed him in the right direction and provided him with all he needed to join a great MTB group.
