this is a repost from another thread, but it really belongs over here. Come on down for an easy tour. The kind of ride where you dont have to worry about scratching up your bike.

I will be on 1 ring only and havent riden since october and have eaten way too much candy and pastry this season. There i got all my excuses out before the ride.

1pm is good for me. Lets park at the 1st big lot on the left after the State Police barracks.

From Maine come down 495 through lawrence. Take 114 east to 125 north. its a ways down 125 ayuhh but you eventually come to one of those new fangled electric traffic lights. Take a left there through the park entrance.

From Naashoeway, North on 495, south on 93, just follow the flow of French Canadian imigrant drywall tradesman, turn off on 125 north. Third light is the state police barracks, go right into the park. This is MA so dont look for the park entrance toll booth, just cruise on down to the 1st big lot on the left.

see you then

My Thanks to Mr. Bill for leading this ride today. OB and I both thouroughly enjoyed it and hope it was enjoyed by All.

It,was great seeing HTSteve again and I got to chat with Old Slow Doggie.....Always great to meet up with the guys from the forum. I think those studs were of little value other than moving excess leaves off of the trails. I had to go back and redistribute the leaves after cause I was told it was a park violation to remove them ;).

what was the total group, like 14. Thank you all for coming out. The weather was great the trails clear(mostly). Oldbroad did me the favor of posting the ride to the NH e-mail list. So there i stood expecting 3 people from the forum and instead l looked out on 13 riders.

We took our time, enjoyed the sun. The snow made for some different line choices.

Heres Steve. We rode from 1 till 4:15. I don't know about mileage, no one was counting.

The Terry trail was fun. In the winter you can see many of the park features that are hidden by leaves in the summer.

I tried to pick trails for the visual interest more then riding challenge. It was a good day to raise your eyes above the path. I asked at a ride stop when we needed to be back at the cars. Someone said "sundown". We just made it.

Thanks for a fun afternoon JustBill! I think everyone would agree that it felt great to get out in the woods on their bike
That ride must have burned off at least one helping of Trifle!

In my defense, I think that only 5 of the 13 were there because of my posting to the NH e-mail list. :-\
