So, this weekend was pretty cold. Very cold in fact, the coldest so far this year. Sunday River is scheduled to open this coming Friday, so were very busy taking advantage of the cold weather. The guns were blowing all weekend as the temp never even got near the above freezing mark.
Yesterday AM, we got the call from 2stroke with the suggestion of hiking up and poaching a run. We packed it all up and headed up to Barker.
Here are some shots of the adventure. Pretty amazing stuff. We were able to make it almost to the top but the snow was too wet and crusty up really high on the hill.
