Yes folks this SUNDAY, SUNDAY, SUNDAY the demons of MCLEODS and PULASKIS will be going head to head with the EVIL BEAR BROOK TRAIL.
Watch as MANIAC trail volunteers ATTACK the VICIOUS Bear Brook Trail this SUNDAY, SUNDAY, SUNDAY!!!
OK it’s just another Rocky Mountain Bicycles sponsored NH Trail Care event but it sounds better with a little theatrical twist. ;D
This will be our last scheduled trail care event at Bear Brook State Park this year. Come on out and help us to preserve the great trails at the park we all love and enjoy.
We will meet at 8:30 The hiker/biker parking lot off Podunk Road and we will be working the Bear Brook trail, finish benching the steep slope, that we started in July. With enough volunteers we will be brushing the overgrown area near the snowmobile bridge and sand pit, the brush we will be cutting we are going to use to brush in the illegal trail that is developing on the right side of the sand pit and if time permits we would like to put in a small crib wall at that end of the trail were it is washing out.
We should wrap up around noon, have a bite to eat and will be riding afterwards so come on out!
Bring water, pack a lunch, your bike, riding gear and helmet for the ride afterwards.
Remember to wear orange as hunting is now allowed in the park.
Weather is looking great for Sunday, this could be the last great epic event of the year, don’t miss out!
Remember all participants will have their name entered into a raffle for a chance at a Rocky Mountain Frame and other cool prizes.
I hope to see you then!
Len
PS We could use some shovels, Pulaskis and a pick mattocks if you have one.
